About the event
With the rising awareness of the potential therapeutic benefits of psychedelics, dietitians may encounter clients experimenting with these substances as part of their healing or wellness journeys. This workshop will explore how dietitians can ethically support clients while navigating the complex dynamics of DIY psychedelic use. Drawing from current trends in entheogenic coaching and harm reduction, we’ll introduce practical tools for safety planning and discuss how to build a comprehensive psychedelic game plan.
Participants will gain insight into when and how to advise clients on potential risks, how to assess their readiness for these experiences, and what role a dietitian can play in providing guidance. The workshop will also clarify the differences between psychedelic coaching and therapy and help participants recognize when to set boundaries or refer clients to other professionals.
This training is ideal for dietitians who want to provide informed, ethical support to clients engaging in alternative healing…
